BarcodeToCSV.com ("we", "us", "our") provides free, client-side barcode scanning, generation, and export tools. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data — or more accurately, how we don't handle it.

2. Data We Collect

None. We do not collect, store, or have access to:

• Your scanned barcode data
• Your generated barcodes
• Your camera feed or images
• Your personal information
• Your IP address or location
• Any form submissions or input data

3. How the App Works

All BarcodeToCSV tools run 100% in your web browser (client-side). When you scan a barcode or generate one:

• Your camera feed is processed locally on your device
• No data is sent to our servers or any third-party servers
• Scanned results are stored in your browser's localStorage — a storage mechanism that exists only on your device
• When you export to CSV or JSON, the file is generated in your browser and downloaded directly to your device

4. Local Storage

We use your browser's localStorage to save:

• Your scan history (barcode values, types, timestamps)
• Your app preferences (theme, sound settings)
• Your generated barcode history

This data never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time by using the "Clear History" button in the app, or by clearing your browser's site data.

5. Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service that:

• Does not use cookies
• Does not track individual users
• Does not collect personal data
• Only collects aggregate, anonymized page view metrics (which pages are visited and how often)

This helps us understand which tools are most useful so we can improve the site.

6. Cookies

BarcodeToCSV does not use cookies. We don't use any first-party or third-party cookies.

7. Third-Party Services

We do not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data. The only external resources loaded are:

• Google Fonts — for typography (Inter and JetBrains Mono). Google Fonts are loaded via their CDN and subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics — as described above (privacy-first, no cookies).

8. Children's Privacy

Our service does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13 years of age.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Since we don't collect any data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
